We finished hanging stands, cleaned up everything that needed to be cleaned up, and had a great time doing it. We're finally ready for the season to start! Only a few short days... I figured I'd show you hunting addicts a couple pics from my weekend. What's a story worth if you can't share it?!?! Walk out the front door of the house, and this is what you see! Our little orange tractor Please pardon our mess. It looks a lot better now, I swear. The butcher shop!! Gotta love a 4x4 filled with tree stands. Road leadin to the house 23 footer. Randy, you may have saved my life this year!! You might be a redneck if...you've ever pulled a tree down with a truck I was cleanin out the barn when this gal walked by me at about 6 yds without a clue that I was there. The workhorses! I've got a place kinda like that (it was actually a present from my grandparents) 16 acres then the Government land behind it. It's just our Friday to Monday home. I am sure we will see some work coming from the butcher shop.. T minus 4 days if all goes well! We're in arguably the best county in Illinois. It'll be too easy! I figured a hand one would be more reliable than an electric one. I can only imagine how frustrating an electric one would get when the thing gets stuck every 2 minutes.
