hutchies
For those of you that know me you know how much I absolutely despise armadillos and opossums. For some reason though seasons where I end up shooting lots of dillas I also have good years on deer. Well Christmas must be coming early cause 2 days to season and I just put a .17HMR thru the forhead of one. Hope this is a sign of the season to come cause he is a fat booger. redkneck
For some strange reason, they seem to have declined somewhat in the last 3-4 years. I'm not trying to put them on the protected species list, but I dont see them like I used to. I'm not complaining
Jeramie
Now that you mention it, I have seen very few of them too. Their numbers may be under control now or something. Thats a good thing. They could tear up an anvil with a rubber mallet.

LifeNRA
Do they disturbed the land, or cause damage? Just asking! :hammer1:
hutchies
Yeah they root up your yard. If they get in horse or cow pastures they will dig holes and if the cow/horse steps in them many times they will break their leg. Dillas live in holes in the ground Edited September 30, 2009 by hutchies
