Jeramie
So what does everyone use for a Razor? Ive been able to grow a beard since I was 14 and im now in my 30'S. I have a wire brush face so I cant use cheap or disposable razors. I typically shave with the Mach 3 but wow, those blades are getting INSANE expensive. I almost cant justify them anymore. We are paying something like $12.50 for a small pack that I use up in no time. I looked at another brand that was something like Magnum 5. It was a 5-blade razor. I figured it would be worth a try, especially because the blades are SO much cheaper. Boy was I wrong. My neck looked like I had shaved with broken glass. It hurt for about three days. So now im at a cross roads. Im still spending the money on the Mach 3 but really would like to find something cheaper. Any suggestions? btw, dont suggest electric unless you have a wire brush face! Those things are almost as bad as turning a badger loose on your face. When you can grow what seems like a full beard overnight an electric razor is just a torcher device.... Bowtech_archer07
I use the Gillette Fusion Power 5 blade. I don't have as rough or as thick of a beard as you describe though, but it seems to work well. I can let it grow for 4 or 5 days then shave and it works great. toddyboman
Mach 3 is what I use....and yeah the price is CRAZY. But I don't have the overnight beard problem as you.... :D
dbHunterNY
Gillette Fusion every morning... but you're right blades do get expensive. I try to use coupons from the Sunday paper, if any.
bfletch7441
Sounds like you need to just give in and grow a beard! Ben
Tominator
Been an electric dude for a long time now. Braun is my weapon of choice now.
backwoods07
I use the Schick Quattro 4 blade razor. It was Schick's response to the Mach 3. Just as you mentioned, the blades are pretty expensive. I found out you can buy boxes of blades at a flea market for like $5! I stock up maybe once every two months. Jeramie
If I thought that straight razor would do a good job I would pickup one in a heartbeat....
Missed160
I need to shave everyday, I can't use an electric because it gives me a resh. BUT, I am able to use disposables, the cheap disposable don't work, but the Gillette 3 blade work & are less expensive..
OJR
I use a Norelco for trimming my beard! It has two heads and they are like a hair clipper. No problem using it! It wouldn't be worth two cents to shave with!
Newarcher
Two blade, cheap pivots for me.... New
hutchies
Mach 3 but I've been growing a beard for 2 weeks so I'm saving my money. BTW- I haven't found better than the mach 3 power
buckee
I've always used the cheap or disposable razors. I tried the Mach 3 , but didn't find that much difference except for the price.

Norm Sauceman
I have a rough beard problem too. Seems within five to ten shaves and the darned thing is dull. I have yet to find anything that works well for my beard type.

wtnhunt
Keep a beard, only trim my neck and areas of my face a couple times a week. Used to buy the wal mart brand of the gillette mach3, but they seemed to have quit selling them, shame. Picked up one of those magnum 5's you talked about, and for no more than I use it, it does so so. Has not cut me and no rash, don't guess I can really complain. swohiodave
Try to buy blades somewhere like Sam's club. I get 20 3 blade gillette disposables for 20 bucks.
stevebeilgard
i just shave my neck once or twice a week, with a mach 3. each blade lasts me 2 months so i put up with the price. like leo said, nothing is better.
