HUNTINGMAN
I left the house a little late this morning for my first real hunt of the season.I have been sick for the last weak and still have a bad cough I cant get rid of so I took a double dose of prescription cough medicin. When I got to my hunting spot I couldnt hardly keep my eys open so I took a nap in the truck, better there than in the stand. It was 8:45 before I got to where I was going to put my climber in the tree,I finaly made it in the tree and got everything situated and had not been in stand for an hour and I was watching the cows,I turned and looked right i front of me and there stood a big doe.My first thought was how did you get there,I then looked behind her and seen two more deer witch quickly ran up behind her and passed her, they were her two fawns.I had my bow on the hanger and I was sitting down in my stand.I made the move for my bow but it wouldnt come off the hanger,I had hung it from a hole in the riser instead of from the idler wheel and it had gotten twisted and stuck.I had to turn aroound and look to see what was going on while these three deer were 15 yards away under me.Finaly bow in hand she stepped behind a tree and I pulled back,I put a 100 grain muzzy right through both shoulders and it was a clean passthrough. She ran about 40 yards downhill and piled up.Now I got my summer sausage meat I can hunt for some bone.http:// Edited September 29, 2009 by HUNTINGMAN
