PremiumBeef
Has anyone used the granular Cmere deer stuff that Hank Parker endorses? If so does it work at all? Thanks

arrow32
Buddy of mine has used some CMERE Deer and has had some good luck on it. Personally I've never used it but I think it'd work pretty well.

PAarcher
Haven't used cmere deer much, but have seen results with acorn rage.
outdoorsman91
From all the expierences I've known it has worked. A buddy of mine used it and killed a gorgous nine point the very first time it was used. And I have personally seen plenty of deer walk up to the cmere deer I have used. So I would say yes it works really well.
hdhiii
I prefer to hunt the old fashion way, HARD WORK. This will be much more satisfying for you in the long haul.
Clap33
I use it quite a bit. I found that if I use it in the woods I have better results than I do in farm land. I would go through a 40# bag of corn and half a jug of Cmere deer in about 2 days in the woods where it would take almost 2 weeks at the farm. I have also talked to people that it never worked for. Guess it depends on what else the deer has to eat around there.

Tony
I prefer to hunt the old fashion way, HARD WORK. This will be much more satisfying for you in the long haul. the " Old fashioned Way " ????? i cant speak for the cmere deer product, but i have used a simular liquid product in areas near where deer weere feeding. they dug holes in the ground to get at the mineral. mainly i used it to just see if they really would be attracted to it. here in Iowa your not allowed to hunt over such stuff. as long as its legal for your area, you could try it. but it usually takes a while for the deer to know its there. if you know there are deer in that area, then you should be able to set a stand to take advantage of what you already know. but i wouldnt put all my faith into it to use as an attractant to draw deer to a place where they normally dont go. HD, Your comment could easily be taken as a knock on any hunters who have used cmere deer. You are basically saying that if you use cmere deer, it isn't "hard work" as you call it. If it's legal, and it works, who are you to say it's hard work or not. Bashing is not tolerated on this forum. Your comment was taken as a slam on folks who use cmere deer. I agree 100% with tony. If you feel that you did nothing wrong, then perhaps you should re-read the guidelines you agreed to when you signed up...... :drink: Kyle
hdhiii
All, After discussing this with many friends, they felt I did bash "premiumbeef". That was not my intention and I sent him a private message to apologize. As far as I'm concerned, this issue is over. I would like to thank all of you for your input. Thank You
PremiumBeef
Hey, I accept the apology. No feelings hurt here, I just ask that everyone think about who they are answering when they post. You can write what you want to me and most of the other adults on here and it is not going to deter us from the outdoors or make us feel bad about ourselves, but what if I was a young hunter new to the forums and you were the one to discourage me? Good luck to all in the early season.
