That is cool! I think it is great to get the ones that dont really like deer to eat it like a few people have and they like it. You just have to know how to cook deer meat and they will never know and some people disagree with me "Non-Hunters".

MichiganHunter
Ok, So i'm making this tomarrow...well it's like 1am (holly crap) so later today, but i'm making my just a bit different, I have been soaking some chops(cause i'm out of everything else, very scarry) in some zesty itilan dressing for about 40hr's I've got them all cut to size in a pan now and what i'm going to do other than the zesty itilan dressing is i'm going to use a bit of thined down bbq sauce and just before I pull them off the grill I'm going to give them all a light coating of the bbq sauce. I'm also going to throw some potatos in olive oil and seasoning's, wrap it in foil and toss them on the grill.

Stone Cold
Did these last night for friends and they were to die for. They were gobbled down like ....quick, I did 2 whole backstraps and watched them dissapear. Thanks for the recipe Kirk You are very welcome! I love to share recipes and photos from what I take plus trail cam with fellow hunters! Like I said a while back "I have yet to find anyone who does not like them!" I will say this, dont wast the best meat "Backstraps" on this. I use a roast and cut into chunks. They still are the best that way! Save them backstraps for steaks! buckandbull
I will be trying this soon. Here is my favorite. VENISON LOAF ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 1/2 Lbs. steaks or tenderloins 1/4 cup Grape Jelly 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 cup butter 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Place all ingredients(except venison) in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute to melt butter. Pour half the sauce in the bottom of a glass baking dish. Lay venison in a single layer in dish and cover with the remainder of the sauce. Bake in oven for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Spoon extra sauce on top of venison when served. That is how the recipe read when I got it. I usually double the amounts and add some potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms or whatever you like and bake them in the same dish. Enjoy.
Stone Cold
That sounds good! I will have to try it. I have been trying to get more ideas to try so that the family will all eat it. I have some picky eaters here. I will eat it any way it comes on my plate!
