Turkeygirl
Had an eye dr. appointment today...I go every 2 years...it's more of ab ig deal to me because of the traumatic cataract I'd had when I was 8 when a pine tree branch slapped me in the face. All I wear is a contact in that eye these days. Good news, nothing changed, the prescription for my contact is the same...eye dr. said I might need a pair of readers when I'm in my 40s for my good eye...but I was told that a while ago so nothing new. Basically everything looks great he said. And he ordered me a new contact lens so now I can have an extra/spare as this one I've had for 2 years and it still looks good he said. So now I can start thinking about bow season in slightly over 2 weeks!:toot: Oh and we stopped on the way home, unexpected visit at this small bakery place where a friend, the cook from camp, is currently working. I think mom and I totally surprised her...she looks up and then turns and goes "Oh God, it's Ruth!" lol Sounds like they are working her pretty hard. Her sarcasm though sometimes can be so annoying, even if she says she doesi t out of fun and love...Anyone have sarcastic friends? Any good tips? lol :pop: Anyway thought I'd share the good news...And it's with God's blessing that I bowhunt right handed (my right eye is the eye with the contact)....I shoot my gun left handed though because I adapted to that when I was younger, with my eye. PotashRLS
You never want to take chances with your eyes. Keep em healthy and you'll be happy. I still can't get over why your archery season is so late. Why is that?
