Jakapr
ok, both 10's are on opposite sides of the state the one in velvet was taken on 08-18 the other was taken 09-07 they look about the same spread. the one out of velvet looks like he has more mass. his bases are about as big as the other deer in velvet, but then the one in velvet is still growing, but not much. both look like they wont have much in deductions side to side. the one in velvet looks like he will have longer tines and he does have longer brows. one is on the farm my friend hunts one is on the farm I hunt. I guess the only way to really find out is if he shoots his and I shoot mine.
lil hunter
all of the above? is that an option? lol. Those are some nice bucks.
Prairiepredator
I would shoot either of them, but I do really like that second one.
GWSmith
I'd be patient and let the first one.....ALMOST GET BY...LOL Are you serious....Either of them would cost me a Taxidermists bill!!!
arrow32
Those are both great bucks! I'd really like to take the second one tho.
layin on the smackdown
What kind of question is that?!!! They both look like fine specimens...I don't know, i kind of like the long beams on the one in velvet, but the only way to say for sure which one i would want to take, if i had the choice, would be to see both of them out of velvet... need2hunt
I'ld shoot which ever one got close enough
Jakapr
I would guess in the 150's for both , what do you think ?
Muleyman
Those are both great bucks! I'd really like to take the second one tho. I agree both definetly shooters but man is that 2nd one nice.
wildguy
i'd shoot any of those. Those are all nice deer though
dawgitall
I could not pass on either one!
wtnhunt
Both of those are very nice and are mature bucks. Get 3 bucks here, shoot em both just not the same day.
c_lou
OH THE HUMANITY to have a decision like that. I would prefer the second buck, but wouldn't cry if I accidently shot the first one on purpose.
redkneck
I thought we'd get to pick ten deer. I'm disappointed. Both look like fine animals. You always post some of the best pics in this forum!
woolybear
Whatever one stepped in front of me first.
Tominator
I think the one in velvet will score a tad higher when it's all said and done. Both tremendous deer though.
hoosierhunter
The velvet deer looks bigger, but the hard horned looks older. I'm drooling over that first buck. Look at that body. Just a tank of a deer......
MNcrittergittr
Both are beautiful deer! If I I had em both in bow range, I'd base my decision on which one gave me the best shot. I think that's a win win situation there!
dbHunterNY
I'd take the first one during early bow season to fill my bow tag. Then I'd take the second one during regular gun season to fill my gun tag. The third one I'd take with my new T/C to fill my muzzleloader tag. Finally, I'd take the last one with my Bonus Deer Management Permit. Then I'd sit down and relax tell people how I did it. :chat::drink:
chaseasl
If I had to choose, the second from the top, I like those long g2s
swampbuckva
Wow nice pics I would go with either of the two. I wish I had that choice.
Tom2008
If I had to choose I would pick the one in velvet. Length is going to get a higher score and the one in velvet has longer G2s.
fly
150's sounds right. I like the neck on the first one! Thick and ready to fight. I'll bet he'd wup the one in velvet.
NYmathewsman
Both are great deer. However, if it was down to one or the other I would go with the velvet deer. I would also like to know how you got them to pose so nicely for the camera?!?
hunter83
I know you can see some difference in them but man they could pass as twins! Nice deer, either one would be on the back of my ATV! (if I could quit shaking long enough)
