PotashRLS
Congrats on his first buck and you for taking him, though we can't condone aiding in the delinquency (skipping school) of a minor:clown: Tell him next time to practice with his bow! Archery is not a slam dunk, though he made it look easy.

Turkeygirl
Congrats to him on a nice deer! Make sure he gets some practice in though before next year's opener....may not be so lucky next time... Might also want to consider your photo background next time as well....gut piles in the photo is not necessarily attractive to some people, don't want to give hunters a bad rap...we deal with enough, lol
layin on the smackdown
congrats to the both of you! Glad to see you are helping out our youth...even though you were contributing to his deliquency...:clown: my dad use to let me do that... MNcrittergittr
Good for you guys! I'm all for mental health days in the woods! Every year, we take days off of work and school, ya gotta have priorities lol! It's really great to see you passing on the tradition and passion of bowhunting, but it's also important to pass on the responsibility and importance of practice, and preperation. Good for you guys, it's a great moment you'll each remember forever! Good luck out there and good huntin'!
redkneck
I fully endorse ditching school to go hunting Just keep the grades up! :robot:
MNcrittergittr
I fully endorse ditching school to go hunting Just keep the grades up! :robot: Yep, that's how it's always been at our house!
backwoods07
Congrats on his harvest! I skipped my fair share of classes (work, too for that matter) to get in a tree. I'd keep the not practicing between the two of you though. Us archers get enough flak about the ethics of our sport. We don't need to fuel the fire! The_Kat
Congrats on a fine first kill! As for bragging about the lack of preparation....well, to each his own I guess. It would prolly mean more if he actually spent time practicing for that moment of truth. Still congrats! First day success rocks!
