dartonman
My wife is a saint......she took off from the hospital last night, triple overtime mind you....and took the family out for dinner, then said..."well, lets get over to the sporting goods store before they close to get your deer tags, and some new clothes for tommorrow" (OCT. 1 OPENING DAY IN ILLINOIS)., my clothes were getting BAD., So, drop 200.00 bucks like a drop in the bucket, new realtree coveralls for extreme weather, and some lightweight realtree pants, dirt scent, etc, etc. She woke me up at 3:30am to make sure I had dried, and sprayed my new gear with scent killer before I head out....a saint I tell you., then she tells me to stay in the tree as long as I can this morning, as it looks like rain for three days starting this afternoon.(my wife watches the moon phases, and weather to try and predict my next kill date) I did. I didnt see any deer, but had the time of my life 18 feet up enjoying my first sunrise this season, and watching wildlife. I love my wife., 20 years of marriage, and she loves to see me act like a little kid the day before archery season to this day. al

GWSmith
Sure sounds like she's got a halo big Al.... $200 on clothes goes way too fast in a hunting clothes department. I always thought the sounds were from the air conditioning systems or something. Come to find out it's the sound of air rushing into our wallets as the money exits at a high rate of speed...LOL

Tominator
I love my wife., 20 years of marriage, and she loves to see me act like a little kid the day before archery season to this day. al LOL--I hear you bud. I feel the same way about my wife. She left work early so she could pick up the kids so Ohiobucks and I could hunt a new piece of property. It paid off too, Tom smoked a doe at 15 yards, and I was literally 5 yards from unleasing a Rage at a doe. As I got settled into the stand, I texted my wife "you will never know the joy this brings me, thanks HB."

bluelund79
Al, that is a saint! We need to have my wife meet yours. She is coming along with my antics in the woods, but any extra puch never hurts!!! My momma gave her similar advice to what your wife does-put em in the woods and you'll never worry where he is at! Did you happen to take the boys out too?
