Turkeygirl
Will the rain ever stop!! Argh! More rain today...and this weekend....it's really putting a damper on me shooting my bow....and it shows...I need to get my bow arms back in shape. Last night I practiced and shot decent at first then my arm got tired and my shooting got crappy...not sure if it was that or my form...sometimes I feel like I'm rushing my shot or something... Anyway wanted to go squirrel hunting today as well...suppose to rain all afternoon....ugh! Stuck inside again:hammer1: I hope the opener in 2 weeks is nice and not a rain out....2 weekends in a row now of rain is a bit too much! Tominator
I hear you. My new property has a pond right next to the driveway and septic system. Looks like I'm going to have to spend more $$$$$ to put in a drain tile.
RangerClay
I hear ya Ruth. It has rained non-stop since Sunday up here. We definately needed the rain since we had a 3 week drought before this rain started. Right now I'm trying to fit my bowhunting in between the storms. ruttinbuc
Ya, my brother is salmon fishing in Pulaski and keeps calling to ask if its raining here. I say no and the fish don't care if its raining there. Hang up and fish!
Turkeygirl
LOL RB! Did he catch anything? I know we get a fall steelhead run down around here...usually when archery starts, lol! It stopped raining while I was out feeding the horses tonight, I was like woohoo, go shoot my bow, even if just a few shots. Well 5 minutes later it starts pouring again...tomorrow is suppose to be ok weather wise...gotta get some shots in!
Adjam5
One good thing about all this rain was the great antler growth on the bucks this year. That is the ONLY thing. Yup... weekend looks like it will be wet.

He had ten hookups with Kings and didn't land a one yesterday. He didn't have any as of noon today. Hope you get some practice in, Ruth! Yes sir, Anthony, there are some real nice bucks running around with the moisture we had all summer. There was a big 8 shot today up at the club where I hunt. I'll be out rain or shine in the morning. Unless of course it is really pouring!
