hutchies
Right by my tree at 10 yards. I would have to say he was probably 5'7, 35 years old, weighing in roughly 175, with a goatee, summit stand, and diamond bow. Does nobody own an alarm clock around these parts. I was on stand at 6 am. Then he came back by around 9:30 taking a special interest to my cam lock box. When he touched the lock I said "YOU LIKE THAT?" I think he needed a new set of drawers. redkneck
Too funny, but I know it really wasn't at the time. Is this public land? I've had an encounter or two like that. One time I was the guy looking for a deer with an arrow in it. I heard a fellow call me from up above in a tree, lol. It was public land and the deer had passed under him. He helped me track it down and drag it out. We became good friends for the short time I lived there in school. Don't see too many black guys that bow hunt, no offense there, just a fact. Nothing beats last year when those two guys came in and spotted me, apologized for walking n on me, and the proceeded to setup 50 yards away and use the CAN at least 30 times in 30 minutes lol. hutchies
Thats what happens when one idiot kills a good deer in there and can't keep his mouth shut. If I would have taken the shot one of the 4 times I had the chance we probably wouldn't be having this conversation right now cause I would have told them all I killed it at Fob Edited October 2, 2009 by hutchies
The_Kat
I had that buck at ten steps the year before and couldn't draw fast enough when he came by. He snuck right up on me and I froze in my seat. LOL, it was my first hunt ever on that place......what a deer.
