redkneck
My biscuit bracket had moved! I'm grouping 6-7 inches low at 15 yards. I barely moved the thing and went 6 inches high at the same yardage. I think I've found my problem! Why oh why after countless practices did it move just before the opener? Oh well, I'm just glad I got an answer!
GWSmith
Just about everything that attaches to my bow I have marked with small lines to show if it's matching or moved;)
redkneck
Just about everything that attaches to my bow I have marked with small lines to show if it's matching or moved;) I was thinking the same thing Gary. As soon as I square the rest up, I'm going to be scribing some lines on the riser.

redkneck
Well, to tell the truth it wasn't flopping around, but I went from a nice group at 15, to a nice group 6+ inches low at 15. My pins felt solid, but I could move the rest up or down without a lot of pressure. Considering my bow gets stood up in the back seat of my truck, it's easy to imagine the rest could get moved a bit up or down. It's just the best theory and most likely culprit at this time. You can't go from shooting good, to shooting bad without something changing is my theory.

Ethan Givan
suprised you just didn't let it fall all the way off and buy something that doesn't affect arrow flight after 30 yards....... A whisker Biscuit affects arrow flight after 30 yards? I dont think so. I have one on my bow and I shoot all the way out to 70 yards and my arrows fly like darts. It works perfectly. If I was you redkneck I would tighten up that rest you have, mark some lines, and go hunting.

wtnhunt
Have had my bow hang on limbs when pulling it up, pretty sure the rest has hung up and it did not move. Tighten those bolts up John and you should be good.
redkneck
suprised you just didn't let it fall all the way off and buy something that doesn't affect arrow flight after 30 yards....... Not sure I understand all of this one. I take it your saying WB's ok out to 30 yards? Anyway, I'll probably switch to a drop-away sometime (i've shot them before) but this biscuit came with my bow, and to tell the truth, I shoot pretty good at 40 with it. Like I mentioned I cant honestly say the thing had moved, but my sights were solid, my grouping had moved down significantly, I moved the wb just a tad and my grouping was back right again. It's been a great set-up, the proof is all the meat in the freezer still left to eat, but I just got to set things right again and move forward. Live and learn. He is saying that they aren't good after about 30 yards. Not sure where he gets that kinda info.
