ruttinbuc
Here is a video slide show of my last hunt in Alaska. Mike Little took me across Resurrection Bay to a place where he had seen bears earlier in the year. To our surprise we came across a cow and bull moose. The cow ran off and the moose who was only 35 yards away didn't pay us any mind. If I had a moose tag we might of had us a moose, lol! The rest are pictures of what I witnessed of the beautiful mountains of sea ducks to eagles gills and to a place where the old ships go to die. ruttinbuc
Oh, alright! Anyway, I was hoping tp catch a beach combing bear. As it turned out there was quite a bit of tourism going on over there. People walking the beach and a bunch of guys mudding with their trucks. Nonetheless, I was at peace in that part of the world. I will be putting a DVD together on the trip. The videos compressed for photobucket do not do the pictures any justice. If anyone is interested in one please let me know. There will be a small fee to cover materials, shipping and handling.

PotashRLS
That was a great slide show indeed. I would have guessed the moose to be out of velvet by then. Is that common?

ruttinbuc
Thanks all! That was a great slide show indeed. I would have guessed the moose to be out of velvet by then. Is that common? The moose were still in velvet at that time, Tracy. Apparently, the rut was a ways off yet. Kathleen would have the answer, but she is in hiatus... redkneck
Well done Mike. I can see where a moose could flat out eat up some stuff. I've been fussing about the neighbor's dog in my collards, lol. Must be awesome to be close to one. Thanks for posting that.
