knobby
What a difference a week makes. Loch'M In Waterfowl started off the first weekend of early goose season with 70 degree temps and 30 plus mile an hour winds. Needless to say four birds were taken opening weekend, and we knew we were going to have to hit the roads to find new birds. After three days of constant rain, 150 plus birds were found in a freshly cut cornfield. The rain dried and the temps fell, Sunday morning we were greeted with frost and bright sunshine. The birds worked well and at the end of the morning 13 geese were taken one bird shy of seven man limit. The last bird of the day taken was wearing leg iron, and was the first banded bird to come Loch'M In's way in five years. Thanks to Tyler, Al, Tony, Warren and his boys for joining us this morning.
