Texan_Til_I_Die
I think you need to treat a ground blind like any other stand - place it so that the wind is in your favor.
Rayzorp
Mine is not scent-lok, but I take the precaution of washing it in scent elimination detergent and I spray the blind down with some scent eliminator, good luck!!!
MNcrittergittr
Hey there, I hunt out of a ground blind A LOT every year. In fact, we have a ground blind set up at arguably the best spot on our property. We always have great success out of the blind year round. A black suit is a great idea. A lot of hunters won't go in the deer woods without their scent loc of course and I'm sure many will tell you that it's better to have scent loc than not. It might be hard to disagree, after all it can only help. There are a lot of hunters out there that have great success and don't wear scent control clothing too. I don't think that it is absolutely critical for you to have scent loc, but since you are on the ground you should definitely be aware of scent control and do everything you can to prevent getting busted. Some blinds now are made with scent containing or controling materials too. I don't wear scent loc in the blind and have had A LOT of great, close, exciting encounters and success. I wash my clothes in Scent Killer soap and spray down with Scent Killer I like the HS Scents wafers too. We've taken a lot of deer from the blind as close as 5 to 20 yards. If you are planning on hunting the same spot or area I'd recommend leaving the blind out for a while before you hunt. Let the deer get used to it. I love hunting out of a blind, make sure you are comfortable and concealed but can still see what you need to and it'll be great for ya. Good luck out there and good huntin'! That pretty much nailed it right there;) Does the blind have shoot-thru screens??? If so who cares what you wear they cant see in;)

Can't go wrong with your scent if you do that.

WvBowhunterKE
Have you scouted the area in which you wish to place the Blind? If so pay attention to the wind pattern, scent is a big thing especially if your wanting a bruiser. No worse feeling then getting busted. What kind of blind do you have? Alot of them have the screen shoot through windows like said above, but generally they have windows 360 ing around your blind. Placement is key. Not saying it needs to be scent loc but all precautions to concealling your scent would be helpful. Maybe spray your blind down and set it out there for a few days before you actually hunt it. Like said before the deer need a chance to get used to it.
Muleyman
I would say you don't really need scent lock. I don't use it in the blind it seems to be fine. Just spray down in scent killer.
SpcNape
My family and I hunt a lot out of a blind. Love it! I don't own a piece of scent lok. We are just careful of our scent in the way we wash, and using scent free soap. Have been winded in a blind, but if you do like Tink said treat it like any other stand. I do think you'll enjoy the blind. I just use my regular hunting clothes. Just be careful about how much light you allow in and they'll be hard pressed to see you in there.
