SpcNape
There was a time when my brother wouldn't get up before nine for a million bucks. This morning he calls me at 445 and says he's on his way. We're gonna be out a little late cause of the rain. I'm just pumped that he's going hunting. Unbelievable what a little age and maturity can do to a guy. So now we're off to sit in the rain, hope we see something.

redkneck
i don't hunt in rain unless got my groundblind up Haha. One of my all-time favorite hunting experiences has got to be bowhunting in the rain. Not a hard rain, just a steady sprinkle/drizzle. I like the way I can go to the stand absolutely quiet. I like the sound of the rain, the cover the noise gives you, the fact that all the leaves are twitching as the rain hits it gives the absolute best ability to stalk. Also our falls are usually very dry (not this year) and the fresh rain seems to get the deer perked up and moving around a lot. I just love it!
