So how many arrows?

Hunt or be Hunted

Recommended Posts

I own all different kinds, i.e. hunting, target, etc.

I take 4 into the woods. 3 tipped with Rage broadheads and one with a practice tip. After a hunt, I will normally pick a leaf out on the ground and shoot it before climbing down just to see if I'm still on.

For my current bow I have all Goldtip Expedition Hunter 5575 carbon shafts. I've kept a dozen, but I lost a couple and torn the fletch of one at 60 yards. They're durable as anything so I feel that's enough. I carry into the field as many as my quiver can carry I think. My Alpine soft-loc quiver carries five I think. I have all but one tipped with 2-blade Rage heads. One arrow is tipped with a field point for small game if I get bored, however I've been thinking about getting G5 SGHs; they look awesome and are durable. I usually shoot the field tip at my block right before I go out though.

I own a ton of different arrows, aluminum, carbon, Easton, Beman the list goes on...I bring my Bemans in the woods with me, usually 4 arrows, 3 tipped with a Muzzy 4 blade (this year the Muzzy mx-4's) and 1 with a judo/small game tip. I really don't need to bring all those out, I'd like to go to a 3 arrow quiver, 2 broadheads and a judo tip.

Got about 15 ST Axis right now. 4 go to the woods. Right now I got a Muzzy, Rage 2 blade, and a carbon express tip, lol. I like to try out new tips. Also always have a field tip in case I want to shoot from the stand, or pop a coon at dark.

Just put some tracers on yesterday, and was very impressed so far.
