First shot was broadside and just slightly quartering away. I hit it about 2 " too far back behind the leg, just clipping the stomach and the back of the other lung. The second shot.. I was a nervous wreck. I thought it was at around 25 or 27 yrds, but it was 20 yrds and I aimed too high, clipping it just above the shoulder. It was definitely the first shot that killed it, but it sure would have been nice if he just stayed down ..LOL Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers for the recovery guys. I appreciate it.
