I think today was the day the Devil made

Went into work this morning and it was the worst day I've had at work maybe in the 8 years I've been there..............The first truck we ever bought burned to the ground in the parking lot today just yards from the building. I can't tell you how upset I have been all day. This truck was mom and dad's pride and joy...........I know it's not much but they loved it. It was sitting there warming up for the driver and burst into flames. Fire department said it was electrical and nothing anyone could do but that didn't make it any easier telling the driver that I don't have a truck for him to drive when he has a wife and 2 mouths to feed at home.

Sorry to hear that Hutch. We went out Monday night to the same thing to spray one down, only it was a pole truck, and there was nothing left but a frame, but luckily the trailer with all the logs never caught. The whole cab, sleeper and all was flat to the floorboard. Amazing how fast they can go up in flames. I hope things work out for the best for your family.

Sorry to hear about this. At least no one was hurt.

One thing that is a blessing, it never caught anything else on fire.

That is why my dad with his trucking company never parks his trucks side by side by side for fear of losing multiple trucks instead of one.

By the looks of it, thats a Peterbilt isn't it? Sure looked like a nice truck.

Sure hope you can put the driver to work. If he is willing to travel to Michigan, I am sure my dad could get him behind the wheel driving again.

Best of luck buddy, sorry this had to happen.
