ShaneB
well i was going out to sit over a food plot but b4 i got there i was walking on a partialy chopped corn field and saw 3 deer a doe and 2 fawns...the wind was right so i grabbed the range finders and decided to try and put a stock on her, i started at a 139 yards an hour later i was at 30 yards waiting at full draw....let the arrow fly she ended up going 60 yards and piling up....my tracking skills got put to the test when it started raining

PAarcher
Good work. Nothing like stalking a whitetail down, it's not an easy task but when it happens it's a GREAT feeling. Glad you found the deer in the rain. Sounds like an exciting hunt man.

ShaneB
why theres nothing wrong with shooting a doe that has fawns as long as there eating on there own whats wrong with it really? tell me a reason... no matter what you say i will still take a doe that has fawns any day....i shot a 9 and 1/2 year old doe that had fawns yet is that wrong? ShaneB
well if you'd ever see the area we hunt you'd do the same there are nights you would go out and see 25-50 does a night and not 1 buck im just trying to get the herd back in ratio dont worry i've taken bucks and passed up smaller bucks to
Gator
why theres nothing wrong with shooting a doe that has fawns as long as there eating on there own whats wrong with it really? tell me a reason... no matter what you say i will still take a doe that has fawns any day....i shot a 9 and 1/2 year old doe that had fawns yet is that wrong? Hey Shane, next time just shoot one of the fawns, be alot more tender!!!:clown::clown::clown: BTW, I agree with you, this late in the year, the fawns will be ok, I'd shoot a doe with them in a HEARTBEAT!!!! And besides, no matter what kinda doe you shoot, your still gonna take a producing deer out of the heard.........
HUNTINGMAN
The doe I shot a couple weeks ago had twin fawns with her, they didnt have spots and were big enough to be on there own so I took out moma.My belly was telling me to shoot one of the fawns but my mind was telling me it could be a buck fawn so moma got the shaft.
