This method can be very good, but be careful how eager you are to embrace it. I've always been right-eye dominant and therefore shoot right handed. But I now have a bit of a problem with it and the left eye is more than willing to grab the spotlight if it can. I must shoot with the left closed because of that. I also know a woman who used to miss the target butt entirely about every 10th shot. Turns out that, while shooting with both eyes open, every once in awhile the left eye decided to be dominant and she was actually aiming with it. Hence the wild shots. q24me Posted October 15, 2009 Report Share Posted October 15, 2009 yea been doing it for a long time, however I,m finding out that the older I,m getting, I have to sometimes close one eye in order to refocus, and I wear glasses.
