bowhuntMN
I shoot a Diamond Black Ice at around 50 lbs draw weight. And there was a big drop between my 20 yard and 30 yard groups. I always see people on hunting shows shooting around 50 lbs too but theyre bows shoot a lot flatter than mine (at least i think so lol). I have my arrows cut at 28" and i'm shooting 100 gr tips. Are those tips too heavy for my setup? is there something i could do to flatten out my arrow flight? thanks for any help you can give me
MNcrittergittr
What kind of arrows do you shoot and how heavy are they?
WvBowhunterKE
Maybe your arrows are too heavy for your draw weight. Check and see your weights on your arrows.
bowhuntMN
theyre beman mfx 400's, 9.6 gpi. on the chart it says my draw weight and length are within the 400's range but its more towards the bottom or the minimum weight and length. arrow32
I think you could get away with a 500 really. I'd have to look at a chart. There are a few people on here who could prolby tell you if you could.
stcif
My opinion, don't worry about flat. Just set the pins up so the arrows go where you want them to. (If you have a multi pin sight). As for the broadhead weight, I would go heavier. You are shooting a 369 grain arrow/broadhead when using a 100 grain BH. To me, that is too light. Do you know how fast your arrow is going?
