bobwhite
Went archery hunting this past week in Pa.had a interesting thing happen to me. I was on stand ground hunting and 5 min. after i was ready I turned and saw a doe looking at me. Well the deer could not figure me out kept stomping and looking but I stayed still. Here comes an other doe nice size so I went to draw on her pulling back with my release and my release comes off my wrist and hanging on my bow string. Well I forgot to secure it with the strap she trots off 30 yards and looks around. I was able to secure my release as she moved behind me she turned then I drilled her with a 2 blade rage at 30 yards. She went 60 yards and it was all over, I won't do that again. I've done that while practicing.I use a Scott release, same one for 12 yrs. They make a good product,we need to concentrate at what we're doing, excitement gets the best of us sometimes.
