stevebeilgard
i think albino's are in any specie. perhaps you saw an albino goose. special note: there is no such thing as a canadian goose. they are a canada goose, named after naturalist john miles canada, and not the country. toddpipkin
If it had black tail feathers, it was not an albino. Albinism is lack of pigment from the entire body, thus the eyes are pink. The described coloration, if the bird is in fact a Canada and not another species, would most likely be from a genetic anomaly similar to that which causes a "piebald", or part-white and part-normally colored deer or other animal. I once hunted a gold-colored crow for two days. Saw it several times, but never in a position for a good shot, with gun or camera.
buckee
special note: there is no such thing as a canadian goose. they are a canada goose, named after naturalist john miles canada, and not the country. As long as they are on our side of the border, they are Canadian geese . You can call them whatever you want once they cross over. :clown::clown::clown:

Tominator
Probably a condition that affects all birds called leucisism.
