GWSmith
usually bucks have 2 dots behind print called dew claws Does have the same thing;) Cant tell what sex they are from tracks but you can tell if they were running or walking. Big tracks are also sometimes hard to tell if the ground is muddy. I've seen small deer walk by in a swamp and go over to see if they were on a trail to find the only tracks there you would swear were made by a 300lb deer! Ethan Givan
Depends on the ground. Cant tell for sure what the sex is but I can tell you if its big or if its running or not. I dont even pay attention to tracks in deep mud, but if I find them in a dirt road where the dirt is packed down then I will sometimes venture a guess as to what the sex is. I have seen tracks that were close to 6 inches from dew claw to the front of the hoof in hard packed dirt where the track couldnt have been distorted at all. Those definitely got my attention. Prairiepredator
You know that if the track is really big, than it is probably a buck.
