ryan1990
I wanna get into muzzleloading this year and I wanna do this the traditional way with a flintlock and roundball. Anyone that can let me know what brands to look for and average prices
Hoosierbuck
Thompson/Center and Lyman both offer flints, as does Cabela's, which I believe is made by the same company that makes the Lyman guns. I have one of the Cabela's and a Lyman in cap lock, and I like them both very well. Probably can't go wrong with T/C, either. HB
quigleysharps4570
For a factory rifle I've heard good things about the Lyman Great Plains Rifle in the flintlock version. Good luck on whatever flinter you come up with...you won't want to use anything else once that bug has bitten you.
