superguide
This has to do with sheds but I posted it here so more people would read it. Ty's buddy found a set of 201 inch NT sheds(without spread)-his Mom just phoned all excited-he got offered $2,000 for them-that's pretty major coin for a 14 year old. Take a look at pics in shed forum and tell me if you think he should sell them-they are really unique horns.
fisherguy
Re: Question??? not for $2000. Or only if it is $2000 plus a set of replica's. It may be a lot of money to a 12 year old, but 5 or ten years on when that isn't as much money to him he will regret selling them.
need2hunt
Re: Question??? First thing I'll say is I'm not a big shed hunter, I've done it but don't have the commitment as some of these great guys on here. My opinion is I'ld sell them, I would be less opted to sell them if they were a typical but that's just me. With the price I'm seeing for antlers on ebay $2000 looks more than acceptable to me and at his age that money could get him some things that he'ld rather have. texastrophies
Re: Question??? 2 grand for something I didn't kill, just found, they would be gone just as soon as I got through taking a couple of pics.
wtnhunt
Re: Question??? Dont have a clue what sheds sell for, didnot realize there was that kind of money in shed collecting. Have never found any around here despite putting in a considerable amount of time looking, probably never will. I would say if the offer is a fair offer, he should take it. Cannot say as though I have ever found $2000 looking through the woods. As many sheds as you guys find up there I would honestly have a hard time not selling them to the highest bidder. Rhino
Re: Question??? $2,000 is a lot of money to those boys. It might be to their family too. I say sell and have them start a savings account. They can use some of the money for whatever but that would be a good start for them to be saving money toward college or whatever else they may need it for in the future. Tominator
Re: Question??? I can't see those pics. Are they posted using Realtree's picture forum? Anyway, I guess I'd post them on E-bay and see what happens. If I could get more than $2,000, heck yeah, I'd sell them.
Guest Andrea
Re: Question??? EBay those bad boys. You'd be surprised what people would pay for those. Some fool paid $65,000 for somebody's GHOST...so just imagine what you could get for something REAL!
