ruttinbuc
Was out tonight and caught sight of this guy. Would you take him out?
Slash
Are you a part of the contest? What team are you on?
Slash
Haha I see you are, and your team needs the points! Shoot it!!!!
PaBowhunter00
I would: 1) It would be my first bow kill 2) and the most important, it would be a great management buck, and that would make it a trophy allowing the younger deer to mature to full growth
camoman1
Hes a pretty cool looking buck....Id be shootin!

92xj
All day long.
toddyboman
I would since he looks old and mature!!! However MO just recently passed a 4 point restriction law....So since he doesn't have 4 points on one side he would be illegal.
dexog
is that 4 point rule for bow or just gun
redkneck
In a hearbeat Mike. He'll never amount to anything anyway. That's the best 4pt I ever saw, and I've seen some dandys.
wtnhunt
Yep Mike, sure would. Get 3 bucks here anyway, so not like I would end my hunting for the season with taking that one out.
WvBowhunterKE
He be down if he walked infront of me, he seems to have some time on him.
dawgitall
Take the shot!
Tominator
Nope. #1--We only get 1 buck tag here in Ohio. #2--He doesn't look that old to me. I'd guess 3.5, but it's kind of hard to tell.
Ohiobucks
I would shoot him, but only under certain conditions - it would have to be in January on the property behind my house. I wouldn't shoot him until after the rut was over, shotgun season was over, and ML season was over. Cool looking buck though!
c_lou
Maybe its the video, but he doesn't look like he has the old buck body. He looks pretty thin and long legged. Still he looks like he has a weak genetic rack, so yes I would take a shot at him.
Tom2008
I would take him out. Looks to be a good mature deer. Definately a lot older than the other too. Very unique buck to say the least. Edited October 13, 2009 by Tom2008
Tom2008
Haha I see you are, and your team needs the points! Shoot it!!!! A contest is just for fun. Shouldn't reflect what you shoot or if you should shoot. If it does than you need to re-think why you hunt. Agreed with Ruttinbuc, has nothing do with the question. PotashRLS
Yes...........he has some issues be it genetics or old age or whatever. He would make a great mount and conversation piece. He may even score well as a 4pt and surprise you with some accolades, that is if you care about score.
layin on the smackdown
Nope. #1--We only get 1 buck tag here in Ohio. #2--He doesn't look that old to me. I'd guess 3.5, but it's kind of hard to tell. thats what i was thinking...its tough to say by the footage, but he doesn't look like mature 5 1/2 year old deer...i would guess 3.5 too...jmo... ruttinbuc
Yes, the footage is kind of rough. It was headed on last light when he appeared. Surprised it showed up as well as it did. I had deer in the meadow behind me so I couldn't really play too long. I gave him a grunt and he looked hard for a bit and then went back to feeding. I snort wheezed and he came down the levee. He stood there and stared into the field for what seemed like forever. Stock still. That was a camera pose if I ever had one. He then turned and made his way to an apple orchard across the way, totally ignoring another snort wheeze. There were a bunch of deer already there. Looked like they all came to attention when he showed up. I wish I would have had a decoy out. I think he might have investigated the threat. Yes, if he gives me the chance I'll shoot him. PotashRLS
Yes, if he gives me the chance I'll shoot him. Sounds good to me..................the Rack Pack will be very happy with him;)
The_Kat
With my bow I'd shoot him, but I wouldn't use my muzzle loader or rifle tag on him unless it was the last day of those seasons....but definitely a shooter with my bow. Good luck on taking him buddy, if you choose to!
backwoods07
I would pass all year long. We have some absolute giants running around on our farm.
