Switzerland_Co
Well guys it was all of an hour and a half the first day out and I took a doe. I got to see 15 deer and 7 were bucks but none were the two shooters I have been watching for awhile. On my second afternoon out I sat down for 8 minutes when my split G2 shooter walked by and I had to take the shot. I held out two years on this buck or another larger tined deer in the same woods over the past two season. I passed on a lot of 125-140 inch bucks but it was worth it this season. Here are the pictures. Rod

fly
What a brute! Congratulations Rod. Did you green score him yet? Looks like he'll make typical or non-typical P&Y? Weird seeing those muley forks on a whitetail. How about a weight? Were you shaking when he walked up or what? Switzerland_Co
I hunt and live in Indiana. I grew up in Switzerland County and now live in Ripley County. This is a Switzerland County buck from one of our family farms. I have had the deer green scored and he does qualify for P&Y both non-typical or typical. He grosses in the 160's and nets just under 150. Thanks guys I used to post on here a few years back and kept in touch with a hunting buddy of mine from Indiana State but we lost contact a couple years back. Thanks for the compliments, now i need to work on getting a few more does. Rod
