PotashRLS
Yesterday started out raining and ended up snowing into the night. Some areas got upwards of 3" but most got a very wet and heavy "dusting". This morning has a beautiful 25 degree scrisp sunrise welcoming us to black ice and accidents all over the place. Every overpass or bridge is sheet ice and folks got a real rude awakening! Less than a month ago I was bear hunting in 85 degree weather wishing it were cooler. And now it is! I should be in a tree:)
WvBowhunterKE
Sounds about like how it was when we were mobilizing out of Wisconsin to come over here...It was about 90 in the days and seemed like 20 in the mornings....Fort McCoy...Can definently say Im not looking forward to de-mobing out of their either lol... I guess the closest town we were near was " Sparta " I think. The only reason I remember is because of the movie 300 lmao!:clown:

gzilla45
It snowed all day yesterday but thankfully none of it stuck. I'm just not ready for it yet. They salted the intersections this morning which is a sure sign winter is almost upon us.
stevebeilgard
we went from summer to winter here. 8" of snow after 60 degree days all of september left us with a lot of broken trees and no fall. our leaves fell off the trees green. dang. i want my fall back.
