Dakota
...of our northwestern South Dakota rifle antelope. So...uh...when are we going to do a South Dakota rifle Realtree Forum member hunt? Dakota Dad and I with our goats. My buck (a LOT smaller than my archery buck for sure ). My doe. Dad and his second and third antelope and big game animals ever, "da liddle guy" is on the left. All in all, it was a fun and memorable trip and I look forward to next year! Dakota
congrats, and do we need to get your dad a ...da big guy? You bet we do! There was actually a decent buck on that piece of land but he never presented us with an opportunity. It was really hard hunting this year, we probably saw only 100 antelope all told and we did a LOT of driving around the unit. The thing is, there are 1,100 licenses combined for the two seasons (500 one any antelope plus two doe/fawn tags and 600 triple doe/fawn tags, this means there are 3,300 tags for this unit) and this is a small unit, basically the northwestern corner of the county. I think they need to go back to double instead of triple tags. Dakota
