Another After-Work Squack Hunt (GRAPHIC PICS)

I got held over about 25 minutes past quitting time today, but I finally got to head out for a quick squirrel hunt. I entered the woods and immediately scared scared one and he ran up a tree and into his den...if I was ready, I probably could have gotten a shot before he ducked into the hole in the tree.

Oh well, I sat down and waited and never saw or heard another.

I used my squirrel call to bark a little and got one to answer down the hill...so I barked back and forth for a while, each time he'd answer. I could tell he was coming my way and eventually saw him in a creek bed jumping around. I took a good rest and squeezed the trigger and saw him flop over.

I ended up making a head shot and it was graphic. I will post a few of the pics here and the last one will be the graphic, I apologize if it is 'too much' and if need be, delete the post.

I take neck shots and never get carnage like this, but this bullet must have crept up and hit more bone and just exploded.
