Finally connected

Went out this evening to put some meet in the freezer. I hadn't been in the stand a half hour when I had 2 button buck fawns come through and feed around for about 20 minutes, then they decided to bed down about 45 yards away. After they were bedded for about 30 minutes they got up and started browsing around, I watched them for about 20 more minutes when I heard walking behind me. I turned to see this doe coming up on my right side. All of my shooting lanes are in front and on my left side, and she was on the trail that was going to take her in front of me. When she got behind a cedar I drew back and she then decided she was going to wait there for awhile so I eventually had to let back down. After about a minute longer she decided to go on her way so I drew, she came out into the open about 15 yards in front of me gave her the ol maaaaahhhhh and when she stopped I let fly and connected perfectly. She took off and went toward the creek about 30 yards, she started stumbling into the brush and then I heard her splashing in the creek and then silence. I knew she was done so I sat for about 10 minutes climbed down retrieved my blood coated arrow and followed the blood trail. When I got to the creek there she was floating in the water so I had to go wading and fish her out.
