hunter83
I have been thinking about getting one of the PSE Bow Madness bows or a Matthews Reezen, what does everyone think about them?

WvBowhunterKE
I bought the Mathews Reezen over my leave, not only is it quick it packs a punch. The bow without any limbsavers, stablizers or string silencers was suprising quiet alone. After adding all of these things to it, it was virtually silent. I would deffinently suggest the Reezen...I cant say much about the Bow Madness, but for the Mathews side, I LOVE MINE.
The Kid
I shot the reezen before deciding to buy the monster,, shoot very quick and is very smooth,, light weight and very little vibration, the only reason i chose the monster was i could get the monster for the same price as the reezen,, also mathews stands by all of their bows too!!! MNcrittergittr
I'd say the Reezen over the Bow Madness. Personally, I like the Hyperlite the best. Easily the best bow I've ever shot. My brother and I were talking to Stan Potts at Cabelas once about those two bows, he owned em both and said he also prefered the Hyperlite. It's completely personal preference, but that's my vote. Good luck!
buckee
I'd go with the Reezen 7.0. with the 1/2 " added brace height it will be more forgiving than the 6.5 IMO
Dakota
I'd go with the Reezen 7.0. with the 1/2 " added brace height it will be more forgiving than the 6.5 IMO Yep, 7.0 certainly felt better to me than the 6.5 and Hoyt Alphamax. Like Kid, I also shoot the Monster because that was the bow that chose me and felt and shot the best. However, the Reezen 7.0 or the Hyperlite would be my next two choices. RangerClay
I'd go with the Reezen 7.0. with the 1/2 " added brace height it will be more forgiving than the 6.5 IMO Agreed! Plus the resale value of the Mathews if it doesn't work out.
Dakota
Agreed! Plus the resale value of the Mathews if it doesn't work out. That's true, Mathews does have the highest resale value out of all the bow manufacturers. Dakota
The_Kat
Hands down the Bow Madness. I like the thin grip plus you don't have the vibration of twist in your hand like you will have with the Reezen. The Reezen is faster, but the Madness is smoother and quieter. Madness is also a bit cheaper.

I'm going to have to shoot a Bow Madness. I may be a Mathews guy but I love shooting other brands just to compare too. Dakota

PaBowhunter00
When looking at a bow brace height and comfort should be the first two things on your mind. In a hunting set up the best brace heights are between 7 1/4" - 8" for the most forgiving (One of my dislikes about a lot of the PSE bows are they have 7" or less brace heights, meaning they require you to be more conscious about your form, but also are a little rougher on the draw) Next, is comfort always get the bow that feels best to you. Don't worry about getting the highest priced, or biggest name, if it feels right, it's because it is. If you have the money to spend on a Mathews then I would vote the Mathews over the PSE any day, but there are a lot of alternatives out there that would save you some money for the same performance allowing you to put more money into accessories. JMHO.

JMHO. I used to agree with that statement, but not any longer. It's very hard to tell a difference in the new bows when shooting inbetween the 6 and 7 inch brace height bows. But I do agree that comfort is gonna make you more confident in your shooting. Brace heights a bit over rated these days though....
hunter83
I don't guess I really know what brace height means, what am i looking for in that?
Prairiepredator
I am an APA shooter but if I were to choose between those two it would be the Matthews Reezen, preferrably the 7.0 because a longer brace height will make the bow more forgiving. You can never go wrong with a Matthews bow.
ricfirefighter
ive shot the bowmadness it is quick but a bit rough on the draw i would take the diamong iceman over the bowmadness pse is alittle faster but the diamond is way smother we dont carry mathews so cant say anything on them
