IowaDeerHunter
Anyone have any recommendations for ammo for a .357 to use for deer? I wanted to use Winchester Partition Gold 180 grain copper bullets but they are out of stock EVERYWHERE! (anyone know where to get some? ) So I am looking for something different to try.... IowaDeerHunter
So I have looked everywhere on the net and cabelas for anything good.....everything is backordered minimun 4 weeks. Our scheels here never has crap for handgun ammo but I figured what the heck might as well check. So I swung by today and they had just got in new stock and had everything! So I ended up getting the leverolution by Hornaday! $20 for a box of 25 so I got a couple. Wonder if I shouldn't get a couple more since they are so hard to get? Jeramie
We have been handloading Hornady Flying Ashtrays (hollowpoints) in 180grn. They will do a serious number on deer. Take a look at what Hornady has to offer. They will get the job done.
Rem308
Hornady Flying Ashtrays (hollowpoints) Haa! That cracked me up. I'm shooting a .44 Mag as well, looking at the LeverRevolution.
45-70cannon
Try personal defense dealers. They can get ammo that no one else can seem to get, because they sell mostly to police departments.
45-70cannon
Try Kittery Trading post. I believe the web address is:kitterytradingpost.com and check and see what they have in stock.
