Turkeygirl
in the backside! For one thing, I can never understand any of it, it's all so stinking confusing! I just called the eye dr.place to see if my contact lens had come in yet. They told me at my appointment 7 - 10 days...it's been 14 days now. Last time I ordered a new lens, the eye dr. wrote a letter to the insurance saying it was a necessity, which it is, therefore the paid for it. Well my insurance switched since then..basically it's like Univera/Medicaid since I didn't make enough money the last 2 years going to nursing school. So when I went 2 weeks ago for my appointment, they said they'd figure it out. Well call today, the lens had not come in yet and they had not gotten word if the insurance was paying for the lens yet. The lady was going to call though to find out about the lens. Well here is to hoping the insurance pays for it...optherwise I think it's like $60 for my contact lens...yes I'm that special;) I know, wait until I get a real job...:poke:
redkneck
I agree, it is a pain! Maybe you should write Obama about it to see if he will try to reform it! :clown: jk Ruth. Just be glad you got some contacts covered. I've always had to pay in full for mine for last 15 years.

toddyboman
all insurance is a rip off/pain/not a great benefit.....but we have to have it.....:( It won't get any better when you get a real job either.... However the $60 part sounds really cheap.
