johnf
I've got an old Marlin model 60 22lr that was given to me. I thought the gun was ruined so I've never even shot it. Yesterday I decided to clean it up, and while the stock is trashed and the outside of the gun has a lot of rust and some pits, it was great on the inside and the the barel looks pretty decent. I've got it looking as good as it can, but the sights are in pretty bad shape and I can't really see iron sights anyway. I've looked for some tru glo sights on via. search engine, but can't seem to find any for this model rifle. Does anyone (AJ ) know where I might be able to find them? AJ
Re: Fiber optic sights They don't make a set for the Marlin 60. Your best bet would be to have a gunsmith adapt a set to your barrel. This would probably not be cost effective. I suggest putting a scope or red dot on it. Its got a 3/8" groove for tip off rings.
johnf
Re: Fiber optic sights Do you think the little holosights they make for air rifles would work?
AJ
Re: Fiber optic sights For a little while, maybe. I would not expect them to last long.
