redkneck
Fake. No eastern diamondback that big. They're the biggest snakes in north america and are very rare over 6 feet.

lilmisswtnhunt
did u see that first comment about "dumb country folks" and how the guy shouldnt have killed it? there were little kids in the area and a snake that big couldn't be used for anything good except maybe some really cool boots dimondbacks are known to be aggressive and their poision is commonly used as self defense from natural predators, and they call us ignorant Edited October 18, 2009 by lilmisswtnhunt

wtnhunt
Fake. No eastern diamondback that big. They're the biggest snakes in north america and are very rare over 6 feet. Yep, a fake. They are the biggest venomous snake in this country. Had a neighbor when I lived in Florida who killed a diamondback in his yard that was close to 8 feet long. Think indigos can get a little longer and they eat rattlesnakes and other venomous snakes. Would be nice if there were more indigo snakes around. Longest snakes we see around here are black racers.
