Turkeygirl
Any of you feel inspired after listening to certain music...or feel better after you do? Kinda been bumming today...don't know if the nasty winter weather...letting down because deer season is finally here, in like 36 hours...or just thinking about working as a nurse for real. I think just thinking about working and just not knowing where I want to head in nursing...not too mention it's scary to think about doing it for real, no professors! And trying to decide when to really pursue a position...I mean part of the reason I took time off after camp was to enjoy hunting season. Anyway listening to an online Christian radio station (Christian music pretty much the only stuff I listen to) and it's helping...listening to the lyrics, it just made me feel calmer and realize I just need to trust God more...It'll all work out in His time...Of course I have to take the plunge forward...the scary part, lol. Should go read my Bible a little more than I do...and pray about it. Anyway anyone else find some music helpful?

The_Kat
I listen to music all the time. I love rock and country, even some rap crap but not very much. I really enjoy three days grace, breaking benjamin, theory of a deadman, nickelback, 10 years, shinedown, alice in chains, metallica, staind, creed, the new and old lynrd skynrd. For country I like just about everything. Music pumps me up for workouts and hunts, and it relaxes me. One thing I love is LOUD music. The louder the better. Its not uncommon at all to walk into my house to hear my sounds system blasting off as loud as it will go.

fly
Hey Ruth I know exactly what you're talking about! I know everyone will say it's too early, but Christmas music in October rules! I'm a big Christmas fan and look foward to it every year. The Time Life Christmas collection has been playing in my truck since October 1st. I look foward to driving just to listen to the music. It's so soothing and relaxing and since I'm still looking foward to Christmas it's not a downer. On the rare day that Christmas music doesn't do it for me then I put on Metallica. (strange... but for whatever reason it works).

dance.and.shoot
the one song that really helps me get through a not so great day is "Breathe Into Me" I think it's by Red...I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's who sings it. I don't know why it helps, but it does.
