Turkeygirl
That's awesome! I've been wondering if the steelhead are running yet....We usually fish in Springville, NY in Catt. Creek.... I saw the Salmon River...drove over it when we went to raid another camp!

ruttinbuc
Nice fish, Andy! Those fish are a blast to catch. My brother was up earlier in the year and did fairly well a couple of days. I didn't get the chance to go this time.

Strut10
Just saw an article recently that said they've found actual naturally reproduced Atlantic salmon in the Salmon River. Good news, indeed!!!
RangerClay
I'm mad!! You came up here and didn't tell me you were coming?? That's it! You are off my Christmas card list! :hammer2:
RangerClay
Yum! Im jealous.... I cannot see the pic here at work. But unless you catch them in the lake or when they first enter the river, they taste blah! These are pacific salmon, but they DO NOT taste like salmon from the west coast.
