Rem308
Tonight I traveled back home, getting ready for tomorrow's WV Archery Opener, but still wanted to go out and see if I could see any deer moving on the farm. I took my S&W 22 pistol with me, but with it misting and looking like rain I didn't really expect to see much. I ended up seeing this squirrel at the edge of a field and he ducked into a creek bed. I snuck up to the tree that he was playing in at the field edge and saw him sneaking up the other side of the bank. I shot him, made a good shot, but he still fell into the creek. I grabbed him, hustled back to the truck, and got out of the rain. I did get this pic, but due to the rain I didn't take my camera out. I watched a few deer and headed home. Skinning a soaked squirrel is NOT much fun, but it's soaking in salt-water now. Tomorrow I'll be bow hunting, and the weather is calling for snow @ 29 degrees! My squirrel hunting is going play 2nd fiddle to bow hunting.

Rem308
I really like it, it's a heck of a little handgun. I topped mine with a cheap little Barska red dot scope and it's good to go.
arrow32
Congrats! I've been thinking about taking our S&W out and killing a few. Might have to.
