Gus
Maybe you just need target that has more places to shoot at. Congrats on the robin hood . I have never got a robin hood, but got to where I was busting a lot of my nocks off, so I started shooting just one arrow at each target
Doc
Re: Yeah,,,well here is the problem I love to have.. I had 7 robin hoods mounted in my shop until I realized that it was getting a bit expensive. I started to pull them apart because each one had 1 arrow that was still good. Now, all my practice is done with multiple spot faces. I have made up a target that has four 1" diameter bullseyes, each surrounded by a heavy 3" ring. Everything fits nicely on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. No More robin hoods. Doc
mitrrophybowhunter
Re: Yeah,,,well here is the problem I love to have.. I have done this 3 times. I did it last year. I put the one arrow into the other about 12 inches. Man was it a pain trying to get the one out. I ended up messing up the other one two pulling them apart with pliers. Well, Dave, you can always send that bow back to where it came from, lol. Good to see some of my magic rubbed off on that bow.

[/ QUOTE ] Put your safety glasses on and just start busting away at the first arrow, a piece at a time with a pair of needle nosed pliers. They really don't like to be just simply pulled apart since the 1st arrow has a tight spring grip on the second. It takes a while. Actually, when you think about it, it probably really isn't worth the effort, especially if you wind up getting sliced on the edges of the split arrow. Those edges are razor sharp. It's better just to avoid them in the first place. Actually the first one is kind of neat and you have an interesting conversation piece to display on the wall. But, after that, they start getting downright expensive. Separate aiming spots is the best solution I have ever seen. Doc
