Tim Andrus
Well tonight was 2nd day of the NY bow season and a buddy of mine had asked me to shoot some doe on his ground ,because theres just too many.. So i took a buddy of mine who just bought new Cannon HD camera and we set up on a clover/ turnip field At 430pm miss Heartbreaker spoke , but she musta had the hic cups . Cause I hit back farther than I should have... My fault , no excuses anyway its 30 degrees and we just backed out till morning. It was a pass thru , no food matter though but not much red blood( liver) So when in doubt back out and thats what we did. I practiced all summer , dressed in jacket and all and the string smacked my sleeve, go figure ! Well its a first for me and hopefully a last Will update tomm

fly
We all know backing out is the right call, but it sure is hard sometimes. Bet she isn't more than a hundred yards from the shot spot! Hopefully you will not have a bunch of briars to wade through Tim! Bucks/does... it never gets old does it?

wtnhunt
Hope you find her this morning Tim. Shot at a real nice buck 6 or 7 years ago and had my string slap my sleeve, real bummer but I missed clean and think I sent my arrow into the river. Bloodtrailer
i use an old brown dress sock for an arm guard, 2 bucks at Dollar General and you get like 3 pairs.
