Griz
I have always wanted a box blind of some kind to hunt out of. Something I could set out and keep it there all year and not have to worry about it... So I came up with a plan and with some lumber and what not I had me and a buddy of mine started building... The Base of it is metal. The legs are 2 7/8" pipe with 1 1/2" square tubing... The Floor and Roof is 5/8" plywood along with 2x4's and 2x6's... The inside of it measures 4'x8'... The plan is to raise this up 6 foot after it's done... After we got it framed and sheeted it was time for paint... I had enough paint layin' around and with a little of this and a little of that I came up with the color I was looking for...Gray... I also painted the inside of it Flat Black... Once we got it in place. We thought it would be best to brush the bottom in... Well we've had it set up now for about 2 1/2 weeks and I Love It... This is going to be Awesome to hunt out of... I had it over looking a Food Plot... Final Resting Place...
Adjam5
Very nice Griz. Good luck with it. It looks like there is more than enough room for 2 people and gear. I would throw a few black, brown and green crooked lines all over that blind. Just to try and break up the outline a bit.

AaronS
Great job Griz. I want to build one very similar...already have the spot picked out where I want to set it. I want to have it so I can take my young son out with me. Just waiting to see if I will continue to have access to the property before spending the money on the blind. fly
Dale that's a sweet looking blind! Some fake tree branches would also help that blind to blend in. However, I don't think you're planning on moving it so after a month or two the deer will be used to it regardless of paint or branches.
