Hardwood_HD
me and my dad went out deer hunting this evening after work, i got set up and when dad was walking to his stand he called me and said he found a dead 6pt layin 30 yds from one of my stands. so i went walking up figuring im gonna have to call the wildlife officer to get a tag for the rack, but when i met dad at the deer i could see where it had been shot and it was right behind the shoulder, then i parted the hair and noticed it wasnt a broadhead that killed the deer it was a bullet. i went ahead and called the wildlife officer and left him a voicemail to see what he thinks, im afraid hes gonna keep the rack for evidence and thats the only reason i wanted to call in the first place.. oh well its the right thing i guess, ill keep you guys posted on what happens heres a pic of the hole.. what do you guys think?? jdavis
Sure looks like a bullet hole to me, that's too bad that someone would do that. My brother shot a doe with his bow earlier this season and he found two .22 cal bullets stuck in her.
sluggunner
Makes me sick... What kind of loser does something like that. Hunts with a gun out of season and then leaves a beautiful animal like that to rot out in the woods. Nothing but a total waste, sad...very sad. wtnhunt
No question you did the right thing calling your warden, no doubt that is a bullet hole. You got any pics of the deer? Hope the warden pursues the loser who shot this deer and catches them.
