fly
I'm thinking you're using the 2 blades? Was the arrow in the deer as it ran off or a pass through? If the arrow was in the deer I'd say you hit the shoulder blade and likely got vitals = dead deer within 100 yards of the shot spot. Most likely towards the thickest cover you can find or in a low spot. Good luck!

arrow32
Same thing happened to me Saturday but she was quartering away from me. Hope your able to find em but I had nothing on mine at all either and ended up not finding. I'm sure she is dead up in there somewhere but with no blood or anything its extremely hard to look for them. Do a grid search is about the best thing you can do. The Kid
went out this morning pouring rain found my arrow sticking in the ground 9 inches.. there was little blood due to the fact it was raining all night and all moning, did a grid search and found 4 dead deer but not my buck?? when i smelt the arrow it smelt like fat to me idk how else to explain it,, the only thing i can think of was that i hit high and thats why there isn't any blood, but if you were to see where i hit the deer and all of the hair that was left u would think there would be some blood?? You found 4 dead deer!? Was it from someone shooting them, or something else. If it is from someone shooting them, they either aren't making quality shots, or not doing their part to find their deer.
