Guest Bama
I am looking into buying a small rifle and came across a small Ruger 308. Its smaller than a Rem model 7, not sure of the model number other than its one of the 77's. It has a stainless barrel, and laminated stock. Feels great. I need a small gun with a short length of pull due to my small frame and short arms. I have a browning micromedalion in 7mm-08 now and even its a little big for me. Any thoughts or experiences with that ruger please post for me. Thanks guys
WaCoyote
Re: Questions about a Ruger Rifle Just bought a compact for my 11 year old daughter in .260 rem. I like it a lot. Short barrel makes for a loud report but the gun is every bit as accurate as I would expect. I havent played much with the loads but I'm get just over inch groups. Like I said I havent tinkered much so I know I could improve those groups. i'd have to say go for it. Those Rugers just look good too! I liked it enough that I bought myself a ruger target model 77 in 22-250. I love that thing. It shoots like a friggin laser.
