dsharp01
Anybody ever try the Buck Bomb lures? I have limited time to hunt and from what I read they work good but want some REAL WORLD input before I spend $$ on a one shot lure.
arrow32
Never have used them but I've been wondering the same thing myself about how well they work. Have saw them on tv and they seemed to work.lol But no idea if they will work or not.
cray8705
no good In my opinion they are a waste of money. I tried using them about 2 years ago and had no luck. They are pretty much a one shot deal and they are rather expensive if you ask me. When I used them I saw absolutely no deer. I have used tinks #69 and have had much more luck. Don't waste your money on the buck bombs, try out tinks.
RangerClay
If I wanted a heated scent, I would use Tinks on my Thermascent. Much cheaper in the long run. There are great deals on Thermascents in ebay.

arrow32
Exactly...I know Bass Pro Shops has them for $14.99 right now! Hmm..might look into that. Normally just use scent. But that could work good.
cray8705
what do the people who use the thermascents think about just getting the pads and using them on a regular thermacell?
huntinman802
never used them. thought about it but $10 is way to much for them i think. jsut my opinion.
redkneck
Looks like a good idea. If it's the same ingredients, then I can see why it's so high. Would be similar to taking a couple of bottles of #69 and a spray mister and just squirt it till it's gone. A little pricey for me though. I'll stick with the little brown bottles. peteski
I've used the bombs for a few years now, however I have NEVER dispensed the whole can at one time. That is just way too much scent in my opinion. Instead I usually either put a quick shot on my boots for cover scent, or put a few short bursts in the air or on leaves in a shooting lane. I've had deer following my tracks to my stand after spraying my boots. Also have had deer seem to calm down after smelling it on the ground. The great thing about this product is the convenience. They work well if used wisely.
