bfletch7441
What can I do to encourage native clover to grow? A few spots I mowed over the summer have clover in them, but it doesn't grow very big. Would like to see the clover take over the fields. wtnhunt
Get a soil sample and lime and fertilize accordingly. Could also mow during the growing season to limit invasive weeds.
PotashRLS
You could try overseeding in the spring and rolling it in with your fertilizer. You may want to try "frost seeding" even earlier.
dogdoc
Like William stated--get the soil rich and keep weed competition to a minimum. You could also spray with a grass killer such as Poast which will not harm the clover but kill the grasses.
bfletch7441
That's what I had figured, but wanted to run it by the "pro's" first! Thanks guys. Ben
